Mit Gewissen wählt er den schwierigen Weg,
Und er weiß, er ist nicht allein, so wahr er hier steht.

Ein Kampf ohne Schwert aber mit einem Traum,
Heut Nacht soll er verlieren? Das glaub ich wohl kaum.
Er wundert sich, als auch schlechte Seiten funkeln im Licht.

Und die beste Eigenschaft, die ich erkannt,
War die Liebe aus seinem Herzen, tief drinnen ich sie fand.
Für mich der beste Platz, ist sein Herz ganz ohne Last.
